Another 11,200 people got access to clean water

During the instal­la­tion, it turned out that the Gathi­giriri system bore­hole was more produc­tive than expected. The possi­bility of extending the Giekuri system by a further 54 taps was there­fore iden­ti­fied. These addi­tional wells will now also supply clean and healthy drinking water to the three commu­ni­ties of Kamucege, Kiriko and Kirogo and thus to a further 11,200 people.
